Stories Hidden in Plain Sight

Part neighborhood walk, part immersive documentary, Footnotes* offers tours that focus on New York’s unique cultures, influential arts, and extraordinary people.

The storytelling style of the tours is influenced by guide Meri Haitkin’s background in producing, writing, and directing reality and documentary television & films. She is also deeply inspired by her personal experience of living in the greatest city in the world.

We cater to curious locals and visitors alike.

We keep groups small, so each walking tour has the vibe of a good hang where you get to learn a thing or two.

We can’t wait to hang out with you.
